The Welsummer Thread!!!!

My two week old Welsummer chick is getting white feathers on her chest. Is that normal? None of the adult welsummers I have seen have white on their chests. It's from a hatchery, is it possible it's not really a Welsummer?

Thought I'd post some updated pictures of the 1 chick who has weird feathering.

The kids changed the named on this one to:BOYGL

Its too weird to be a Welsummer. Looks more like New Hampshire Red to me. Never saw a Welsummer like that except for the odd Welsummer pullet that was on the WCNA website. That looks like her tho.

The sex of that chick, definately cockeral.

I got it out of a bin at the feed store.

Here you can see it has some white feathers in it's wings and the white feathers coming in on it's chest.

That is a Speckled Sussex! Pink legs, mottled white edges, yep, Speckled Sussex
