Cyn, you are way over-thinking that background. That quilt is going to be the most beautiful quilt I have ever EVER seen.

And I can't believe how fast it is going. Id love to be a fly on the wall to watch you doing that.

Thanks, Kathy(s)! Here are 12" blocks 10 and 11. Just one more actual block, then I begin doing the borders:

I cant believe how fast this is going, and its so intricate.

There are many more pieces in each block than I usually attempt, but with the machine and good quality thread that doesn't kink up, it goes pretty swiftly. If I was still hand piecing, it wouldn't be nearly this far along, trust me.

Final block, #12, 12" completed. Now will begin cutting border fabrics.
