I actually gave my friend my mellowest chicken to hold and she totally was in love with chickens after that.
I'm Such an Enabler ...

I've used this one before. Only I send 'em out to the hen house so they can sit on the floor and get mugged by chickens. Once they've been thoroughly set on by chickens it's hard to get them to come out of the the coop. There's nothing like a bunch of silly hens sitting all over you, exploring your head, your ears, your hair to make you giggle and get over whatever upset you.

Without much thought, I said this tonight while I was closing up the coop. "Geeze girls, relax. Stop being chicken." About 2 seconds later I realized what I said and had a good chuckle over it.

Yesterday, I gave my friend 5 chickens. This was payment for helping us load some supplies from home depot.

After paying him in chickens, he then told me that was the best gift he had ever received. It was followed by a high five.

I will no longer use American currency if they will accept chickens.
