Every time I read a sentence that has "lol" in it or "ha", I want to smack the person. And the long run on sentences? I can't even read those threads, I skip right over them. It is incredibly frustrating when people can't be bothered to use basic english properly!

I'll use lol or ha occasionally, but I find mine to be well placed

Yes, I've noticed that. You don't overuse them, and when you do use them, it isn't nearly as annoying as most other people.
Probably helps that you use punctuation properly, too.

When people complain about things that are free! FREE! I work at a school cafeteria and lunches are free this year because of the pandemic. And we still have parents that complain about the free food

Oh, the your/you're, their/there/they're, and its/it's mix ups get on my nerves. And the 's for plural...

I used to tell my students, "If you send out an email or other communication filled with misspellings and grammatical errors, at best, they'll think you're uneducated. At worst, they'll think you're stupid."

I mentioned my son's teacher's grammatical error once to my son, and he told a friend, who then told a teacher, who then told my son that it was not true and she had not even corresponded with me. (Lol)
