Things you wish you could say

... I sometimes forget that kids can be irrational. 🤣 (I pretty much never interact with them, though, in my defense).
Not sure why I keep forgetting, goodness knows that I see plenty of "mature" adults acting irrationally....
Those adults are the ones who never learned how because they kept getting the participation trophies 😆

Did a brief stint in online customer service.

I hung up on a person twice in front of the owner. Told him I wasn't cussing him or berating him, I won't put up with it from him. The call center forwarded his follow up calls. He calmed down, and at the end thanked me for being such a help to him.

........ if I could only invent a way to reach through a phone line and slap someone.

I've been a manager for people who take calls. I tell them, that if they want to speak to a manager, transfer them to me, no questions. If they get abusive, the script goes something like, "Sir/Ma'am, please stop yelling/swearing at me. If you do not, I will hang up." If they don't stop, hang up.
