Thinking of buying my first incubator. . . . Need help with everything

Ok so I am considering purchasing my first incubator but it's becoming a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. I only want it to hatch about 20 or so eggs and I would really like to keep it u deer $100 if at all possible.any brand or type better than others? Also any tips or recommendations would be nice. Just don't buy a Chinese LG you will be hurtin for certain, anything else I mean anything else should do just fine.

Thanks they are all nice.I really like the brinse . . I think it just looks cool. So should I get the egg turner or if I didn't how often should turn them?

Ok so I ordered the brinsea Eco 20 and the auto turn cradle. So now does anyone have any tips or suggestions. I heard I could put rocks in the incubator for warmth. Is this true? I also heard some breeds eggs are easier than others is this true? Any help will be appreciated!

Ever since I've been doing my own hatching, I can tell you that Silkie eggs, Polish eggs, and Sultans, seem to be very delicate, not forgiving eggs. So your hatch rates are not as good as some other breeds. But they are super nice chicks.

Americana's, RIR, Cochins, Sussex, all have been easy for me to hatch, including the mixes like Frizzles, Sizzles.

I have never had any problems with my Brinsea holding a steady temperature (except when you open it). I don't have the 20, so I'm sure someone who does will chime in here...

As far as eggs to hatch, that depends on what you want your chickens for. Meat? Eggs? Just to look at?? There is a lot of information on this site about the various breeds and their usefulness.
