This is crap. I can't hardly believe what I am reading here.

The only thing I can figure is that she put a really big flag in a room that wasn't hers alone but was one that she shared with other supervisors. I cannot for the life of me think of any other reason why a flag would be offensive unless you came into some little room that shared with five other people to find a 3 x 5 foot flag taking up so much of your space. On the other hand if it was just there for the Memorial day observance you'd think that they could have endured it for just a little while.

I agree whole heartedly on this! This is OUR country, good, bad, or indifferent. I think filing a lawsuit and call the press is a great idea. Besides, the press love things like this, and it surely will get it out, all over the place. I live in S. Florida, and here, you see all kinds of coutries flags. In cars, on flag poles in people's yards, stores, etc., you get the picture.
So, why CAN'T we fly OUR flag anywhere? Makes no sense.

That sounds pretty absurd to me. I don't understand why someone wouldn't be able to hang a flag for a PATRIOTIC holiday?? How could someone possibly be offended by that? Quite frankly, if I moved to the states I would expect to see flags everywhere, and I wouldn't even think twice about it! Who cares, really, about someone being patriotic in their own country?

There's other countries where their leader's face is plastered everywhere on wall sized billboards. Its not like you guys have Obama grinning down at you from every building side! Geeze, just let the lady hang her flag!

Interestingly enough, here in lower mainland BC, ahem, "the best place on earth" (GAG

) I rarely see a Canadian flag anywhere. When I do, its often accompanied by an American flag. Heck, I see more CONFEDERATE flags in the back window of people's trucks than I do Canadian flags!

I'm not patriotic myself, but I could care less if someone is! Regardless if they're from my country or not!

What I don't understand is that the supervisor was from Africa... if she hates the US so much, why did she come here? Why did she stay? Maybe it's hard for American citizens to move to another country, but I'm guessing it would be easy for her to go back to her native country. She is allowed to not like the US, but she shouldn't stay here if she doesn't. It was her choice to come in the first place. Amazing to me.

p.s. I'm guessing she stays because it's better here than in her home country, but I don't know that for a fact. But if it is so, I think she should be very grateful for the opportunity to live here. If not, she should not stay.

Agree with the confederate flag thing lol! There are quite a few confederate flags hanging outside houses around here with and sometimes whithout the American flag.

All I know is that I was raised to be open minded about things even if I dont like them and to respect things. If I was offended I would have talked to the person and let them know I was, I dont go taking down other people's property whether its at work or not. You ask! Secondly I love America. And I think we can all agree that the government makes us mad from time to time, but I am still proud to live here. If someone doesnt like that I am American, I would just smile in their face. I like that I live here, if you dont well then you know what you can do! (and no it doenst invlove cuss words lol)

one of the many things I adore about Americans is that you always fly your flag with great pride.......... you don't see many flag flyers here in the UK...... but for me... BE PROUD....... be very proud........ I would sososoososoossosos love a flag pole.......... it's on my wish list for this year and I intend to fly two flags.... the George Cross and the Union Jack............

Why, I had no idea!

The only time I ever see Stephen Harper is when he's playing a goofy cameo on This Hour has 22 Minutes or Canadian Air Farce!
