I am a total cat person! I love dogs too But cats rule..Here are my 2 babies..Both are doll faced Persians..

I love cats...I love dogs....I love chickens....I love horses....etc.. Each has a place here and ea. has their own temperment and instincts. The cat's instinct was flight from the dog and anything in its way is going to get scratched. Cats scratch, dogs bite, horses kick, llamas spit..If we own animals then beware of their natural instincts as they will come out when frightened. I work with all my rescued animals and most have adjusted to the others to prevent this. Hope you clean that wound up good and be careful around any frightened animals. I'm wondering, did you not grab the dog because you thought he would bite? Sharon

I do not like cats as this is the area everyone dumps them and they breed like you would not believe. Ive had a tom go under the house and scent mark it and the house stunk for days right know we got 2 big grey ones living here. Im trying to get rid of them with a catch cage and give them to the animal shelter. But as soon as i haul them of there will be more.

You need to clean the puncture marks well. My inside cat escaped and was attacked by a larger male cat. His wounds quickly became infected. The vet said that cat bites are particularly dirty.

MAMATO3 ...You are right. I had the same thing here..I had 2 cats for 5 years. They would go outside to due their duties. But when winter came that was a different story. It was my bedroom then. THis year i said there is no way i am putting up with it. So i found new homes for them. I will never ever own a cat again. I hate them.My neighbour is old. HE has lots of cats. The males come over and spray everything, Including my porch when i am gone. I come home to a stinky smelly porch . I get so angry.He has babies after babies and they all have worms and runny eyes. Decusting. I will not touch them ......

I'm a cat person forced (due to allergies) to have dogs. Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs, but I'd take an easy to care for cat (or three) over a dog any day.

Even if you can't pay, you can't be turned away for emergency care. FYI, most hospitals here are not owned by the government. They are private care.
