They were just wormed recently, but the wormer may not have gotten everything. I haven't seen any worms in the poop in that pen at all, just this weird thing. I think I am switching to Valbazen. It gets every type of worm, won't overload their system with dead ones, and naturally, I won't eat any eggs (well, this is a rooster, LOL, but yeah) for two weeks. There are only three hens and none are laying. One is broody and the other two are molting.

I know about worming after years of chicken keeping, but this object was just not something I'd ever seen, something new. Didn't know they shed this type stuff.

I'm gonna tell you raising chickens, you learn something new everyday. If my chicken had expelled that I WOULD HAVE FREAKED OUT TOO!!!!
