How much is a DNA test to figure out what sex peafowl are? I still believe Thor is a boy, tomorrow I hope I will get a pic of his wing stretched out.

I have to agree with every one else.
both birds are hens.
my pieds both have orangeish flights like a male IB.
but they are both very much hens. they are 2 this year.
the color of primaries does not apply to the pieds.

Calypso hatched out August 6, Thor hatched out July 16. I still hope Thor is a male that way I have a breeding pair for breeding and to show them this year at Canyon County Fair.

The person I bought Thor and Calypso from also believes Thor is a male. Though the person I got them from doesn't know much about sexing peafowl but his family has been raising them for a long time. Being around them gets you used to what this happens when you do this and what happens when you do this. Him telling me he believes Thor is a male and the way I sexed him tells me he's a male is good enough for me.
