Calypso hatched out August 6, Thor hatched out July 16. I still hope Thor is a male that way I have a breeding pair for breeding at to show this year at Canyon County Fair.
So Thor is 5 months old... I'll see if I can get some pictures of mine that are that age. I really hope that we're wrong and you have a pair!

The person I bought Thor and Calypso from also believes Thor is a male. Though the person I got them from doesn't know much about sexing peafowl but his family has been raising them for a long time. Being around them gets you used to what this happens when you do this and what happens when you do this. Him telling me he believes Thor is a male and the way I sexed him tells me he's a male is good enough for me.

What happened to the 5 you hatched?

Because the green can effect the color arrangements. Thank you casportpony for hoping that I have a pair and for the pics. You helped me a ton because Calypso has a spotted breast just like the one female you have with the spotted breast helps because I've never seen a spotted breast on the hen before. The last pics of the female look just like Calypso but bigger and the first pic of the male looks like Thor but better color on the neck. I couldn't get a could pic of Thor's neck because he kept laying down and trying to keep himself warm so I just took the wing picture and went on my way. He's really friendly so he should make an excellent show bird. Thor has no green genetics. The person I got Thor from keeps records by having all his hens penned and lets in only one male in at a time. He told me that both his parents are pied. The other male peachick he had had lots of barring but on his back there was no white spots and I wanted a male that has both color and white in his train. Those 5 eggs I had earlier this year died on me the one peachick I did hatch out died within a week. I thought game bird pellets would be good nutrition for the parents and I have a mortar and pestle to crush pellets up into powder but the chick had one leg with toes that were locked together and my aunt who is a vet told me she's seen it before with turkey and ostriches and it turned to be not enough protein so now I have Colbolt, Jadea, Thor and Calypso all on medicated game bird feed. The person I bought Thor and Calypso from said medicated game bird feed works the best.
Here she is. Her name was Coco. Or she could have died because she hatched out 25 days after being layed. I guess where her egg was at heated her up enough but not cooking her. My incubator is at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Here's Thor's wing. He is now getting feathers with barring and he has the orange primary feathers. The primary feathers was what made me believe he is a boy. Now that the barring is finally coming in it is making me believe he is a boy.
