Those who need help in sexing peafowl

I remember a thread on here started about a loud peacock from Australia and remember Deerman saying there was no such thing that it was a silver pied. Here are some reading material from Leggs website about silver pieds http://www.leggspeafowl.com/silverpied.htm He states that the trains can still be full color and the eyes all white.

Peafowl with two white genes = white.( TT) one white gene , + one pied gene = pied. (T,pd ) One white,+one pied,+ two copies of white eye gene (T, pd, w/e, w/e) = silver pied.. Pied + pied genes (pd,pd ) = dark pied . Now, what is loud pied ??? is it a peafowl with T+pd+w/e genes?. if I can assume. People use the word Loud pied. I am confused. Appreciate clarification as to its genetic make up from knowledgable people. A dark pied (pd,pd ) x a white ( TT) = all pied chicks (T,pd)
In my humble opinion but based upon experience and discussion with others and in increasing order of NORMAL & AVERAGE visual white:

One pied marker (split pied) no white usually

One white marker (split white) white flights & maybe throat

One pied marker, one white eye marker (split white and white eye)white flights, maybe throat and usually feather margins with some white eyes

One pied marker and two white eye markers (split pied white eye)white flights, maybe throat and usually feather margins with all white eyes

Two pied markers (dark pied) white flights and throat, white back and wing feather margins and the occasional small white splotch

One white marker, one white eye marker (split white and white eye)white flights, white throat, white feather margins and some white eyes - some would argue that this should be before dark pied

One white marker, two white eye markers (split white white eye) white flights, white throat, white feather margins and all white eyes - some would argue that this should be before dark pied

Two pied markers and one white eye marker (dark pied split white eye) white flights and throat, white back and wing feather margins and the occasional small white splotch with some white eyes

Two pied markers and two white eye markers (dark pied white eye) white flights and throat, white back and wing feather margins and the occasional small white splotch with all white eyes

One pied marker, one white marker (pied) Various white splotches on the order of 10%-40%

One white marker, one pied marker, one white eye marker (loud pied) various white splotches 25% - 80% coverage but usually 50%+

One white marker, one pied marker, two white eye markers (silver pied) various white splotches 75% - 99% coverage

Two white markers or, Two white markers and one white eye marker or, two white markers and two white eye markers (white) all white bird

DANG MY HEAD HURTS!

There is a peafowl color called Opal and a gem called Opal. I'm saying that the Pied peacock should be named Opal like after the gemstone. Like my male Colbolt and Jadea. Colbolt is a blue metal and peacocks have blue necks and Jadea is named after the gemstone Jade because their necks are green and Jade is a green gemstone so that's why I named them that.

Isn't it cobalt? That is a clever way to name them. How was Thora named?

I'm not sure why I named Thor, Thor. Same goes for Calypso. Probably because I was looking at Thor being a brave peacock who was friendly but when it a battle he would be strong. Also Thor is my favorite God when it comes to mythology. Calypso because I can't name her Kaleidoscope so I thought oh I should have part of it because Kaleidoscopes are multi color though Calypso doesn't have much color but I thought it might be a good name for her. I know now that it was a good idea to name Thor, Thor because he has a little thunder bolt now. You're right that is the way the element is but I just felt like spelling his name Colbolt.

He's beautiful Pied peacock. Opal, because Opals have many colors mixed and some are white mixed with color.

Hi there, Opal is a great idea for a name, but he is named Harley already. When I asked what you all would call him, I meant his pattern(pied, loud pied or silver pied)??? Thoughts on that? Just curious. This is what everyone wanted, but we produce hardly any chicks that look like him.
