You confuse me, lolIt is a peafowl color but I was meaning the gemstone.
In my humble opinion but based upon experience and discussion with others and in increasing order of NORMAL & AVERAGE visual white:Peafowl with two white genes = white.( TT) one white gene , + one pied gene = pied. (T,pd ) One white,+one pied,+ two copies of white eye gene (T, pd, w/e, w/e) = silver pied.. Pied + pied genes (pd,pd ) = dark pied . Now, what is loud pied ??? is it a peafowl with T+pd+w/e genes?. if I can assume. People use the word Loud pied. I am confused. Appreciate clarification as to its genetic make up from knowledgable people. A dark pied (pd,pd ) x a white ( TT) = all pied chicks (T,pd)
x2OMG Kathy! Your signature is way too funny as is birdrain's LMAO!
Isn't it cobalt? That is a clever way to name them. How was Thora named? There is a peafowl color called Opal and a gem called Opal. I'm saying that the Pied peacock should be named Opal like after the gemstone. Like my male Colbolt and Jadea. Colbolt is a blue metal and peacocks have blue necks and Jadea is named after the gemstone Jade because their necks are green and Jade is a green gemstone so that's why I named them that.
He's beautiful Pied peacock. Opal, because Opals have many colors mixed and some are white mixed with color.
