Hey QJ how is your little chocolate doing? Any progress?

Hey lovin'. It's fluffin' up and it's weak.. but I think it will end up being a blue.

I really still can't tell. But it does have white on it's chest and head.

I just looked at some pics of them and it looks like both the chocolates and the blues have a white chest. Looks like the chocolates usually have white eyeliner though.

I'm afraid so. LOL. But it could be a blue carrying the recessive choc gene. Of course I have to wait for it to grow up, lay an egg, and then incubate that egg.
So... might look into a different breeder.

On the bright side... I don't have anything blue. So if it makes it.. I would at least have that color to work with. In 1 bird. LMBO. Trying to be positive here.

Yes! I just could have gotten them a lot cheaper. Ha. Oh well. I got 2 lemon orps out of the deal too and they're pretty sweet little guys.
