Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

OH JAZZ: You gotta do the Easter day hatch! Me and craz e are doing it.

And anybody else on here who's a hatching addict.
What do I have to do for the Easter egg hatch? Send me the link or whatever I have to do. Both incubators should be empty by Match 3 or so so I could do it if I knew what I needed to do. LMBO

Morning all, I don't know how you who live up north do it. I am freezing here after a cold front came across us this weekend. Got cold enough last night I had to turn the heat on in the house on both levels.

Well our first gander of the season didn't make it, that kick he did caused too much blood loss.

The newest call duckling is a strong little booger though. Now need to find it a new home/buyer as we we have officially sold off our entire breeding flock of call ducks. Three sets are staying here for a few more months, but happy to have them all sold.

We are expanding our goose collection from 2 breeds to 4 and our son has his BCM chickens he is working on improving faults in that commonly pop up in the breed.

Worked on the fence rails across the front of the property this weekend. Will be nice when it is done and we have flocks of geese wondering around.

Hi to the newest to join!

Oh and anyone wanting eggs for the Easter egg hatch, we sell our EE chicken hatching eggs at $1 each and can get 24 in a shipping box safely. Some of the EE hens are pure Ameracuana girls we haven't split out yet. We have 3 EE roo's and 2 Ameracuana roo's (Lav and black split to Lav) running with the large flock.

Welcome to the thread, new chatters!!

Lydia, that is the regular price all of the time for them. We can usually fill 1-2 doz a day from them.

Our Siler Appleyards started laying, waiting for fertility to be confirmed now. We have 2 Sebastopol geese not laying yet and hubbies white Muscovy.

Twist developed a new issue yesterday. While her neck/head is no longer twisted, she is now showing signs of problems when drinking. She will toss her head back to down water and almost lose balance with how far back her head goes. Then it is like she realizes it so will sit down to continue drinking, and her head goes back normally. Hubby says it looks like she has to re-learn how to drink water, but I worry about her. Otherwise, she is very full of life... eats, drinks, preens, walk/run in a perfect straight line... and is by far the loudest peeper in the bunch.

What do you think? More issues or simply recovering from original problem?
