The vet wants to try a stronger pill first. He said we should consider putting her down when her quality of life diminishes. I was like.. how bad should it diminish?
We've tried Aspirin.. nothin'. We've tried the RX Vetpro... nothin'. I guess there are a few stronger things to try. This sucks. We love her so much.

Putting one of your pets down is really hard. We just put Widget my cat down that was close to 12. But that wasn't our first. Lets see there was Pepper, a min-pin, my cat Spunky, almost 20 years old, Sarah, our 13 year old black lab (that was one of the hardest to for). She had pancreatic cancer so we had to decide when the time was right but she let us know herself.
Don't wait too long. Don't keep her just because you love her and can't do it. It sounds like she is ready to go to rainbow street. Talk to her and she will let you know that she is ready. And then do it. Be with her when the vet puts her to sleep and stay with her till the end. She will need you there and it will help you get through it easier. Then say goodbye to her and take her home and bury HR.
