Did ya'll see what I posted about my goose eggs? I needed thoughts on that please..

Batch #1 Celtic: One has a dancing baby about the size of a bean.
One... I think I can see a baby, but it's hard to see and I'm straining my eyes. But they both have the darkish shadow that covers half the egg.


SM: did you see a shadow? Celtic candles her eggs and they are soooo clear! I don't see veins like that!

i learned this weekend how expensive tsc is compared to rural king.

got all my baby supplies for $41 dollars.
at TSC prolly would have been atleast $60.

i would think they are fine qj.
i think its just tough to see bcuz of the rly thick shell.

my babies are getting harder and harder 2 C.
and 1 of them is starting to take up more of the egg faster.
starting to think 1 is pekin and 1 is muscovy (both sat on same day)

Sounds like we are all in fiine form My favorite chocolate is the chocolate turkey, but that lovely rich color is appealing in so many forms, why limit oneself??

QuackerJack- Hope we don't end up bidding agaiinst each other too often on e-bay. I'm always lurking about the hatching eggs watching for a deal. Funny, the same thing may go for 12 one
day, and 40 3 days later, then 28 in another three. Good luck getting a deal on your favs, hon! I'm usually lurking in the quail and turkey sectioin, but I do a general search for close to the end
hopefull bargans morning and bedtime!!

Hey, what do you all think of this idea.....

Two weeks from today I have a bunch of quail due. I'm thinnking about halving a quail hatching party for the kindergarders in my youngests class to come have treats (that look likes eggs and nests and etc) plus let them peek into the hatcher and see eggs, pipping babies, and (hopefully) a passel of youngsteres.

Is this a cool idea??

i just got back from candling some of my eggs and it looks like 2 of the 3 goosies are developing

it is still very early to tell for sure so i am keeping the 3rd one in there maybe something will happen

and it looks like all 7 of my mutts are developing, i think i saw an eye or a heart tonight

and my Welsh Harlingtons that i accidentaly won are starting to show signs of veining! it is sooooo cool!!!! now if only this month would hurry up and fly by so i can hold some babies

I know what you mean about following along. I'm keeping up with 3, and I spend all my time skipping back and forth, and then falling 15 behind in like 4 minutes!!

Awesome about those lovely goose eggs! Hope they all hatch for you.

I havn't ended up with a surprise win for awhile, you make me want to go buy the next set of hatching eggs, and add to my collection! I don't have babies due for two weeks!
