My goslings should be shipping out tomorrow! So excited. I forgot about packing peanuts coming with them. I'll probably put them on craigslist for free, but I need to figure out somewhere to put them until they go to a new home. My oldest quail chick is about 3 weeks old and the size of a day old LF chick, I wonder if they'll be ok with him.

2.5 hours later all pools and buckets and water bottles are scrubbed and refilled and all birds are fed.

Still air incubators make good hatchers, so don't stress over a non working fan.

Hey peeps. I got the fan removed. I just watched the install video and did the opposite.

I wasn't worried about the fan itself, but my concern was since the fan motor was running and the fan wasn't spinning it eventually would have blown the motor perhaps shortly out the heating element.
I had to unwire it, so it's out now.

And I'm hoping it will hold a steady temp in at least one area.. big enough for 4 eggs.

They need to put an on/off switch on the fan itself.
