Yep we sent her white Sebbie eggs. Got 4 eggs total today which was a nice surprise. Wasn't expecting an egg from one of the girls. Getting anxious for March 15, so we can pick up our new geese and get them here and settled in.

I had my big babies outside today and they did great. But then this evening they started peeping. I decided to bring them in. So I go out there to get them (2) and they literally jumped in my arms. It was SO cute.
The big bullies weren't so tough huh?

Glad I did though because the wind is blowing somethin' awful out there. Creepy really.

Yes Ricky is the gander and Delilah is the goose for your eggs. He is a mega curly white male, a d she is a smooth white with large, wide back feathers and chaps (feathers along the thighs) she has the best body structure and carries herself so proudly.

I've read a bunch of float tester people that have accidentally killed the babies when they failed the float test. So I don't think it's 100 percent. Maybe it's like 70%. Bwah ha ha ha ha.

Evening all, sorry I can't be around in the evenings as much, but too much going on around here. Always need to wait until evening chores are done, then dinner, then the baby gets his bath and bed. Teenager is working on homework, I just candled and turned eggs and took some video of a few.
When you float test eggs:
fresh just collected that eggs they sink and lay still
Developing eggs with a live duck, chick, goose will sink and then wiggle/wobble
Bad eggs float and should be tossed.
ALWAYS use warm water so you aren't rapidly cooling and shocking the eggs.
Uploading some video now to share, will post them as soon as they finish.

That was actually an accident at first. But then it developed beautifully.
