Iain that is too cute.
Omg guys i am soo happy first out of my stock to hatch when i went to pen them in i said guys a baby hatched. Your baby!!!

So they should be pipping towards the blunt end where the air sac is, right?

I just candled 3 of the eggs that have pipped. Each and every one of them has pipped opposite of their air sac. So, I am being clear, when I candled the egg on the blunt end of the eggs, I can see the air sac as translucent. The rest of the egg is dark and opaque. Each of these 3 eggs have pipped away from the air cell. One of them is rocking his egg around quite a bit.

So, all of this being said, how should I handle this? All the pips have happened this afternoon/ this evening.

What I did both times was wait until the other eggs hatched before assisting the ones that pipped. Since they pipped, they could breathe so they have time. They MAY be able to hatch on their own, but if not....

You need to get your humidity up to 75% or more in the room your bator is in. I would also bump humidity in bator to 80%. Get yourself a pair of tweezers, some qtips and warm water. If you have eyebrow scissors, those are helpful too. Use watered down qtip to moisten membrane. Then, VERY slowly take teeny pieces of shell away from egg with tweezers , making sure to also remove membrane underneath. The scissors help to cut off peeled away pieces of membrane. As soon as you see the first sign of blood, put back into bator and wait 30 minutes to an hour. Then repeat process over and over and over. Do NOT rush and try to remove shell in 1 or 2 sessions.

Here's one that has pipped the shell, but does not look like it's cleared the membrane.

Srbenda, I would start very slowly helping it out, but only if you can get your humidity up to not risk your other eggs.

Sue, any time now your goose will start turning, and then it will go pretty fast.

Shellie, I just read this post and it reminded my of something. A couple years ago, my dad had something weird going on. He was in and out of the doctors office a few times in a week and they didn't know what was wrong with him. My parents were living with us at the time, while their house was being built. Anyway, I got home from the barn that Saturday, took one look at my dad, and told him we were going back to the ER. It just happened that we were the only two home that day. We had barely gotten checked in at the ER when he started talking all goofy and then he collapsed. It looked just like a stroke. They rushed him back, did their stroke procedure, etc, etc. I don't think I've ever been more scared in my life.

Anyway, my whole point to this story is that he did not have a stroke. The virus that causes chicken pox, shingles, bels palsy, etc had infected his brain. His face was sagging, his speech and balance were affected, and he lost the most of the hearing in one ear. Just wondering if this could be a possiblity for your hubby...

Haven't been to see hubby today, but the weather was just too nasty and the winds too strong to draw back off the island. The Dr's now seem to think there was no stroke.

they can't explain the loss the strength on his left side though, so being referred to another specialist. He MIGHT get released tonight, but most likely not till tomorrow morning now.
3 Sebbie eggs have large holes now, 1 (sassy egg) has a large pink bill, PandoraSampson egg appears that the bill is darker, the third (Sassy's other egg) looks to also be darker. Hoping we get two girls and boy this go around.

Help it out by doing what? Trying to pry off a bit more shell and get thru the membrane?

Sorry, I have no experience with this whatsoever.... I have the humidifier going, and can add a space heater to the room to help it be warmer.
