This week is off to a bad start ya'll. I don't like it. Maybe I should leave everything penned up today.


Oh and this is weird... but I went out to check on everything last night and one of the hens laid an egg. So sometime in between 5 and 630pm. Weird!

Mine do that the day before they skip a day. Then the next egg they lay is bright and early, and gets later until they repeat. Mine are lazy though, and no one lays until around 10-11 at the earliest.

Wow! This day keeps getting worse and worse! Hm... I have to get on an airplane in 6 hours... hope the flight goes ok!

Celtic, so sorry about your goat and hubby (not to lump them together in same sentence). Glad to hear about your eggs arriving!!! I'm looking out like a hawk for my post lady. I do not have to leave for airport until 3pm, and she usually gets here around noon. Otherwise, hubby will have to be on the lookout for them tomorrow and handle getting them weighed/set.
