See that pinkish dot in the middle? That's Woodie, lol. He is growing good. From what I can find, his incubation is about the same as a chickens so he should hatch around the same time as the poults. Wonder if he will grow up thinking he is a turkey. Should put him and a few poults under a broodie silkie, really confuse them all.

If only my quail would lay so I could add a few of those to hatch with them.

Ace 55, Jet Star, marvel, golden sunray, yellow pair, sweet 100's cherry are all low or lower acid tomatoes, that have good sweetness too. Golden Sunray is a LARGE yellow/orange tomatoe w/ a nice blush to it. Yellow Pair has extra antioxidents. White wonder is one of the whites. All of these are rated well for thier flabor as well, not just low acid.

It is bad to have a tomoatoe w/ low acid and no sweetness = no flavor at all.

Most of these are hybrid. I think some maybe ture to type, but I'm not sure.

I am so excited with the progress of my little mallard egg this evening He is making continues scratching sounds in his egg. I made some peeping noises outside of his bator and he peeped back!! This is my first hatch. My mallard egg was due to hatch a couple of days ago. I was starting to think that it had failed. I am wondering how close to hatching the little guy is?

If he is peeping at you not long. If he hasn't external pipped by tomorrow afternoon you may need to help him.

Its 2:30 am woke up to check the little ones. No progress on te ext pippers. So i opened the bator flashlight in hand. Both stilll working hard. So i chippped shell away up to where they were workin from my ext pip. Both appaer ok very lively.

the top egg has peeping spurts that have the dog all confused. i think he was very glad for the help.
his membrane of the air cell was cry but i dont think it is down further.
and the bottom egg is quiet. his membrane is like collapsed down on him but very moist. i could remove any tho bcuz it still has all the blood vessel in it ..

im past the point of being able to sleep.
im soo anxious.
but i will wait a few hours before helping more to c if they can do it on their own (doubtful)
but i will be with these 2 every step of the way . they started this work and were fighters. so i will keep up my end of the deal and help.
