Yes they do. And I may have accidentally put some of my japanese eggs in the incubator instead of the fridge. Oops.

I brought in 8 Serama eggs last night to warm up to room temp, just in case I want to pop them in the incubator tonight.

It would be nice for some hatching to be going on on Hatch Day is Today!

My turkey hens keep squatting on the ground in front of the tom, and also me. Crazy things. Their backs are dirty, so I know he's standing on them. I hope they don't start laying too soon though.

No kidding!

I am going to set them tonight. They probably won't hatch anyway. I never have any luck with Serama eggs. This is a new pairing though, so maybe that will change things.

OK, eggs are set! I accidently cracked one, so I fried it up and gave it to my pup. Serama eggs make the cutest little fried eggs. I'll have to made tiny little deviled eggs with them sometime.

hate when I hit an egg I am setting and break it.

Setting more eggs today and again at the end of the week, tired after doing our NPIP here this morning that was a ton of birds to handle, shuffle and blood draw on. Done for another year though.

Hope you get some chicks! I can't wait until mine lay, but I've still got quite awhile. My kids love the little eggs, that's part of the reason I got more bantams, lol.

Congrats on getting npip done. Still waiting to hear back about when they are going to come test here. I don't have nearly as many birds, but doing it in the cold won't be fun. It hasn't been too bad outside though.
