We have been setting and hatching since Oct 1st. New blue egg layers and swedish flower hen chicks growing out. Silver appleyard and ancona ducks growing out. All the above set again along with sebastopol goose eggs.

This week will set blue ameracuana, a bunch of our EE eggs, OE eggs, more goose and duck

So, who is thinking about hatching soon? I'm waiting until after the new year, but I feel the urge coming on.

I set a few duck eggs tuesday. I will be setting some japanese bantams next week. Other than that I'm trying to wait for nicer weather and my npip testing to start filling up the incubator. Oh, and if my birds would actually lay eggs that would help too.

I'm getting a few eggs a day, but from my layers not my breeders.

I'm trying to wait for goose eggs... but I keep talking a few more times a week about bators and brooders. The fever is aproaching

My bator and I have a date in February. Not before. It's kind of nice to not have brooders to clean.

Our first goslings are due at Christmas.

Luckily the first 14 goslings are sold so no long term brooding of the first rounds as they hatch.

Although...my little silkied Serama hen is still popping out those eggs. It's so tempting, but it's just too cold right now and I can't keep babies in the house all winter. My husband would kill me for sure.
