They're still keeping me waiting. Silly little birdies.Yay for pips.for a great hatch!![]()
Any update on those Emus? when were they supposed to pip?

Did you do the cross your eyes and wiggle your toes test yet? I would never be able to wait 60 days for a hatch day!You all will be the 1st to know![]()
I have done the stare down wiggle test, the tap test, the heat test.....How just the hatch test alrready !!!![]()
I have been told they can go up to 60 days. So by NEXT WED ~ Really ?!?
(sorry about my impatience, but this literally has been the longest incubation EVER)![]()
Well hope all your hatches are going great & look forward to fluffy butt pics !
Sweetness! So in the meantime, just replanted my pond area & today we are putting up our last poultry run ~ 16' wide by 110' long. So now I have 5 large runs, to rotate them through & behind them run our pot bellied pigs (great little rototillers) then reseed & repeat !!!
Hooray for Ohikis! My bad I mean it is running at 97.5 ~ I hatched 6 out of 7 Brahma eggs just recently, and I hatched 4 ducklings, and also set 5 Ohikis & all 5 are developing![]()
I was told as long as you keep a staedy temp & humidity, it will not affect your hatch rate. ~ Only how long the incubation is ~ like it takes 25-28 days to hatch a chicken, and 32-36 days to hatch a duck.
Can someone remind me about how soon you can see development after setting eggs? Running a fert test and if they're no good, I'd rather shut off the bator for a week and try again.
