At least you have 60 goose eggs in your bator!

Hoping I get a good hatch ~ sell most all of them (maybe I might keep 3-4) And make enough money to feed my birds for the summer. My feed went from 17 cents a pound to 21 cents. I still get 1,000 pounds for $210. So if I could get 30-40 to hatch sell them sexed pairs or Trio's ~ I might do okay. I am not going to sell straight run anymore. I know we are getting $15 straight run a gosling here on CL. So these should be hatching at prime springtime for Goosey & Duckie Spring Fever!

I also am not planning on setting any of my sebbie eggs, so if anyone wants some let me know, I was going to just Ebay them all this year. I do not want any more sebbies, I was told by everyone here I can't eat them

rg. i think i need to do it the old way and compare them to bought chicen egs. i get so confused about things like this. lol

I have Pot bellies ! They are smaller, friendlier, and can't eat me if I fall in the pen

They are perfect rototillers, a few days & I am ready to seed, So duck, goose, chicken, turkey & pig poo all mixed in... Should make for some fine grass! I am planning on selling some widdle babies this summer, then I am going to keep a couple & butcher the adults & start again with babies. Hence the circle of life here!

yay for the eggs! i think i am going to pull my bator out today and warm it up so i will have it all set for eggs soon

I have my eyes on a couple right now on Ebay & one from a website ..... Shhh its a secret

my entire flock of ducks got wiped out a couple of times last year, but i am starting over this year with new stronger pens and i even let hubby get a gun!

I have learned from my mistakes also ! I have Hotwires around the outside of all my pens.... PERIOD. Not just from my dogs but from others as well.

i have been working on it in stages, got it cleaned out, then some of the insulation, and finished insulating yesterday, i am going to finish stapling up the plastic today then maybe get to putting up the walls

right now i am interested in pekin eggs and cornix quail.i saw you pigs so cute! i want those or there are another smaller breed i am interested in to

not sure about $ they were just something i was playing with and right now the ducks take about 10 minutes, they are made out of fondant, if you are serious i could try to work up a price lol

Wouldn't mind a bit. All babies are adorable, not just the feathered hatch out of eggs kind.

Exactly, lol. I love seeing cute little puppies, as long as they aren't at my house chewing on my stuff and pooping on my floor, lol.
