baby number one is free!!! thank you so much to lacrystol for all the help in getting this shrink wrapped tot outta that egg!!!! and to miss lydia for all of her help!! and to all of you! you have all been awesome....and just think....only 10 more to go.....i will post a pic when hes all warm and fuzzy!

he isn't getting all fuzzy...he seems stuck in the bottom of the shell....looks like umbilical cord is still attached but i don't see any yolk sac at all....he is mostly out but i'm not pulling him...if he isn't out of the bottom by tonight i will fill that shell full of bacitracin just in case the cord is dried to the membrane left inside....he seems to be doing pretty well...as soon as he's out he's getting a big ol dose of save a chick!

#1 has a dime sized hole in his air cell now, membrane looked white but not dry, #2 is peeping but is getting a safety hole in the morning if he doesn't pip tonight... #3 and #4 have extenally pipped...5 thru 8 are scritching and peeping and 9 thru 11 just lay there, i'm scared to candle and check them. i also have #1 nestled in a wet paper towel in the incubator...he looks yellow from what i can see. i would be more excited but i'm just worn out...this is kinda like having your own children!...except it doesn't hurt....lol

you'll be fine to candle just do it quick!

He may just be resting its all pretty exhausting! Hopefully he'll be free soon! Good luck with the others!

Okay thanks, I just thought bactricin had pain reliever in it and that is a no no for fowl of any kind.
