here is my cockeral

plus im sharing blood lines with another lady who has a gorgous lav roo.
here is one of my lav pullets she just had a bath right before this picture.
she was playing in a mud puddle

i have a black splash roo and pullet out side and also
this blue pullet.. i will send anyone eggs of these gals if anyone wants

she was also playing in the mud so i rinsed her off with warm water and now is in the brooder with a heat lamp.
they seem to be injoying thier new found attention.

i dont know much about blue lav splash blood lines but im sure learning and i hope to figure it out and get some beautiful birds out of these guys.

I need reassurance.
My duck egg under the broody hen is around 28 days. It internally pipped 3 days ago. It hasn't externally pipped yet. I took a peek while the chicken was out doing her daily business. What I saw looked weird to me, but this is my first time at this. It looks like the air cell takes up most of the egg, like 2/3's. Going up one side it looks like theres a membrane stuck to the inside of the shell with veins running through it.
I did see movement, so I know it's still alive.

they are still very young..
im sharing blood lines with a lady who got the other five from ted who is on byc and ended up living two roads down from me

I have these 3 huge chickens then most of the rest are my cochin bantams, except for my game hen that started me on chickens.
