Oh sure. Right when I'm leaving. So by the time I get back, I expect to see pics. That gives you 45 mins to drive home, put on jammy pants, and take some pics. LOL!!

I got my eggs in the incubator. I still have lots of room left. Maybe I need to find more eggs. Whay do you guys think?

Yes, they are on day 21 today. They are duck eggs so they should hatch on or around day 28.
Yes, they are going to be related to stillmecel's ducklings! They are from the same group of ducks. A friend of mine wants a variety of ducklings, so I threw a bunch of eggs in for her. I feel terrible that the turner wasn't on and I never even noticed (and I check them and the temp/humidity every day!). But that makes me feel a little better since you are telling me not to worry too much. They are very much alive, so I'm hoping the hatch goes well.
I will keep everyone informed and post pics as soon as they start to arrive!

I had a similar situation like this happen years ago with chicken eggs. They weren't turning properly during incubation. When they hatched, I had 7 out of 10 with gimpy legs. I assumed it was because they were in the wrong postion and not turned while in the egg, but I'm not entirely sure. I didn't know if that might happen with these ducklings.

I think the first part of incubation is when organs and all are forming, last part is when they are getting into position to hatch, so if you had to forget to turn them you had good timing, lol. They should still be small enough to get into the right position.

Find an ostrich or rhea egg. Then you just need one to fill up the rest of the space. Just no Emu's, they steal sandwiches.

If no one else has anything good, I can send you a whole assortment. Ducks, chickens, quail.
