Oh yeah, I emailed Holderread's yesterday. I think I'm going to get some Saxony ducklings and a pair of American Lavender goslings.

I'm just waiting to hear back whether they can work out a way to ship them, otherwise I'll have to go pick them up. I thought about getting some Silkie ducks, because I think they're so cute, but I thought I better not get carried away.

Well, that's just plain unlikely, is it possible to go overboard when one is getting more cool birds??

I've been thinking about a R-Com incubator, as anyone ever had one or heard about if it is worth the money?

I'm afriad I've never heard anything about them. Sorry.

I don't think using cedar in the house would harm them. Cedar shavings are constantly being replaced and the smell is a lot stronger, plus they're walking around in it, putting their faces in it, etc.

Quackers - I think if you have proper ventilation in the coop it should be fine.

Going to get some welsh harlequin hatching eggs on Monday as part of a trade. My portion of the trade is garden seeds. The eggs are from the friend who I'm going to get eggs for you from the next time I plan to make the drive down. Figured I'd better test a batch out.

Haha, my hubby would say I've already gone overboard. He'd be happy with none. Not a fan of the feather. Holderread's did let me know that I could ship just two goslings in a divided box if I got 10 ducklings, so I might get a few silkies after all.
