Long time not talk... sup... My dogs ripped open the gate to My ducks. So My boys ran away... found one with a bite in his neck. Then he ran off. So I'm boyless (sad face) bt I did rder some babies fro metzer... decided to get the whole hang of raiseing them before I get quility birds... I'm acheing for babies (another sad face)

That very well could be because for my comparison I have Runners which are super quiet and Anconas which are not much louder than the Runners. Thats all the duck breeds I have for comparison. I honestly don't mind the noise but I could see if you had close neighbors or a disgruntle husband how that would be an issue. We live out in the sticks ........ the ducks are the least noisiest thing compared to the donkeys. LOL those cute little donkeys we rescued

Yes, you guys helped me make up my mind and go with the goslings. I ordered one pair TSQ American Lavender and another of the Blue. I'm excited to get them!

Coyote, the donkeys are so cute. I've always wanted a couple mini donkeys and I would name them Pancho and Lefty.

I went to auction this weekend.... Ummmm I mean I CALLED auction, and asked if there were any Emu eggs & they said their were 4 !!! I asked if they would bid on them for me....

So I now am the proud owner of 4 more EMU eggs....

So does this make me a addict..... I do not even need to show up to auction now, just a phone call away! (and they are keeping them safe for me til I can pick them up on Tues!)

Quackers project eggs from Sparky Crows ~ Konzas, I hatched some yesterday & today. ~ Other project are Auberigines ~ meaning a Konza hen with a Ranaky/Silkie Rooster in the attempt to get Fibromelanistic

& 1 brooder full of newly hatched chicks & 2 chocolate turkey babies.
(and of course my Beautiful Golden Retrievers)




I think thats about it...... I can still count them off the top of my head, so I guess that means I still have under the crazy limit

Really? I didn't think you could. That would be fun if you can...might be dangerous, though. Probably come home with a lot more than 4 goslings! We'll have to look into it and us Washingtonians can take a road trip.

Isn't there another big bird besides the ostriches and emus? I forget what they're called.
