Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Quackers, sorry your eggs aren't fertile, but congrats on your Cayuga!

I was reminded how temperamental LG still air bators are and had a few temp swings resulting in 2 out of 3 of my test eggs dying.

Don't have the heart to toss the 3rd egg since it is developing really well, but I don't want to hatch a solo gosling. Ah well, I fixed my bator kinks, set 7 new eggs yesterday and collected two more eggs today. Now if only my buff dewlap girls would start laying.... they sure act like they are going to any day now.

for your goosies!

I may just have to kick myself for selling the wrong pekin drake. I don't know what this boy's problem is. The girls are laying good, they're flirting, then he takes a drink of water and waddles off. Guess I need to get out the Luther Vandross music and candlelight. And the PlayDrake magazines.

Bummer about the innocent drake. I have 4 extras, but only Ancona.

I'd get that PlayDrake for him, I hear a Cayuga is a centerfold this month. She's in a pink heart shaped pool.

You guys are funny.

GQ, do they have a pool? That seemed to help my Ancona boys realize what they were supposed to do. They are the most mild mannered drakes I've ever had! Quite the gentlemen.
