Set eggs, now have 18 duck, 10 goose and 4 Scovie in the bator. It looks so empty compared to the 100+ I had in there Mother's Day

100+ eggs! i would die from heart failure! no way could my nerves take that.... hats off to ya!! they sure are cute tho... i looked for a sebastopol for a bit and then my best pet duck was killed and i was on a hunt for calls...they seem to be so hard to find in indiana! i just got very lucky getting her in the first place, i never knew calls existed before her. and when i first saw posts here of sebbies, omgosh... just beautiful!

Yeah I don't know how you guys do big hatches. I nearly had a breakdown dealing with 5! Do you get attached still?

so since i have no external pip yet should my humidity still be 70%...did i ask that already?? and can i take a peek and candle?? i don't want to hurt them so i'll do whatever you guys say!! shrink wrapping the baby ducks is against the rules!

as long as no one has external pipped and your hatcher recovers humidity quickly you can peek.

I didn't fully explain... my incubator of 100+ eggs over heated and killed all the eggs. the 6 pack happen to be in a separate hatcher or I'd have no babies right now.

o, yeah, i think i read about that....faulty thermostat??? and that was so horrible!! 100 babies, that would make you sick for a long time....humidity recovers too quickly, it is hanging at 80 and i can't seem to get it down

Glad you're getting some eggs in the bator again. I can't imagine losing so many babies!

I've got 12 grandduckies! May have more coming, but we're getting to the end now.
