Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

if they are shipped eggs then that is most likely why! that is the risks.....
I have had whole clutches never start because of the rough handling by the usps
and it isn't always due to packaging...I've had eggs arrive in expensive purchase packing and they still had some broken...

The sad thing is if I want babies they have to be shipped no one here in wisconsin has any eggs right now!:hit

I want to try again but I don't want to spend the money and get nothing!

I think I'm going to tey one more time with someone else and see wt happens I here lots of positives from her shipped buyers I think I'm going to order from celtic oaks!

What about your ducks? won't they be old enough in the spring to lay eggs?

My ducklings are going to be 3 weeks old this weekend. They are on chick crumble right now. When can I switch them over to the duck grower pellets? I am going to the feed store this Thursday and I cant decide if I should get 50 pounds of chick crumble for the ducklings or 50 pounds of grower.....
