Yeah there is a fourth egg today

with a duck hen sitting on them. It seems strange that the youngest hen would be the first to lay an egg, but what do I know I am just the bringer of food, water and treats. They just don't look like the other duck eggs I have seen, but I do not know what breed laid those other eggs and there were only four eggs. hmmmm


This is the hen that has been sitting on the eggs. I am off work tomorrow so I can observe more to see if she is the layer hopefully.

She's PRECIOUS!! I want one! Drakey boy is doing great! He still doesn't have a name..

He figured out how to get in the pool finally! He was pretty proud of himself. LOL.

Oh- I ordered some "Lavenders" from Plum Run. Did you put an order in yet? Their shipping is dumb. If you buy more than one breed the shipping goes up. ... ?...

My internal pecking and turned into internal chirping!! They have the sweetest little voices!! I want them to come out now.

2 are doing good, 2 are making me nervous. They aren't talking to me, but they've internally pipped. I would like to see more movement in them. Fingers crossed for 4 chicks.
