Hm... speaking of hatching, I wonder how Chicken's hatching is going.

I know I can't wait for my next lockdown... 2 weeks from tomorrow. Then I'm all done with hatching. SIGH.

Are you sure???????? Maybe you should order some eggs. LOL.

First you get them to hatch.. THEN you root for the girls. LOL. Although I think I might have gotten lucky with the light sussex. I'm pretty sure I have a pair.

maybe its this weather?
im sure things will be better when spring hits.
 
I am kind of debating on getting one more set of cayuga eggs so we could possibly have a breeding pair from different stock.

QJ, I think it is just luck of the draw with shipped eggs, but back to the byc vs. ebay eggs: So far, I hatched 8 of 12 with cayugas (66%) and have developing 100% ancona and 80% celtic's goose eggs.

Hm...
