It's just a cabinet. And the trays are stacked so I can't fit a flashlight in there. I have to slide the tray out to turn the eggs. Or squeeeeeze my hand in there.

We got about 4 to 5 inches with ice under the snow. Now it is suppose to get cold. Have to wear lots of clothes so my nips don't freeze off.

I MIGHT have seen something in my Sebbie egg. One of them. It was a darker round mass. I hope it was a baby goose!

Hi SM!

I have a few duck eggs due this week but the broody hen had got off them last Friday and let them get cold. My hubby phoned me when he found them (I was in Sydney) and I told him to put them back under her. But he just put the eggs beside her, not under her

When I looked the next day she was sitting on them again. So, we'll see what happens.

My Buff duck, Robyn, has 6 eggs that she sits on but not all the time. When she gets off of them she covers them up with straw though.

They have gotten so BIG. Squishy is almost as big as Jonny now. They love to eat. When they see me with a plate or a bowl they come running. I give them oatmeal, lettuce, peas, carrots, corm, yogurt, mashed potatoes, just about anything. Dante thinks he is king tut and can't be brought down. he stands right up to Jonny. but he doesn't make hardly any noise. Just a little hiss and thats it.
