I've been wanting a few breeds to make my stock complete. So I'm trying to hold off on getting anything right now so I can get them for the Easter hatch. It's just going to be tricky with the timing of the whole thing.

Utah: Hmm.. I'll try to get a pic. Tonight when it's dark. Awesome buyer for the babies. The guy that bought my cochins (and made me chickenless) takes pics and sends them too me. He's going to give me hatching eggs so I can hatch grandchickies.
Marty: You're apparently supposed to take them out of the bator for a certain amount of time each day starting on day 8 so they can cool off. I know... it's weird.
I love grandchickies (and granddogs)!
Well, our geese always left the nest for a swim, even sitters, for probobly 15 minutes, so It seems reasonable. If they are under 1/3 theres, I think I'd mark the egg with a pencil to show the current area, and then check back in a week, unless the egg shows any negative signs (smell, hairline cracks from swelling, etc..)
Adventrues in hatching! Just when we figure out one species, off we go to try our hand with another. Hmmm....maybe I should order an emu!
It looks the exact same as the other one. I'm going to try to get a pic now even though it's not really dark out there.Get a good picture of that goose egg. What's it look like compared to the other in that set?
