Update: I checked the egg with the stain and it was dead.To me, it looks like it suffocated when it was unable to external pip the shell. It was fully formed, looked beautiful and in proper hatching position.![]()
So... that leaves 3 duckies hatched, 2 zipping, 1 dead, and 6 that have not external pipped yet but are still trying. And for the goosies, Celtic's 4 eggs and 1 of the 2 Ebay eggs have shadows and are rocking. The other Ebay egg is not far behind.
Happy Happy Joy Joy for the duckies that are here! Cute pics too, hon! Hows the baby??? (The human baby)
I had Cayugas for a year, but sold them. I didn't know theys turn into dalmatioin ducks. Now I've got to order some Cayuga eggs. I thought they were Anconas, but wondered why they were so patchy like a dalmation! Learn something new everyday I guess.
