I had no idea this was coming. I really need to watch more TV. Crap! My poor baby chickens are outside. (I know that's dumb..)

And something just blew up against my house. Sounded like a person.

If my power goes out.. OMG.. I don't know what I'll do. Let's not think about it.

My brother's prediction is.. And I quote, "It's breaking up. In about 30 minutes you'll get heavy rain for 15 minutes and then it will clear out like it never happened."

I'm okay with this prediction.

Oh I forgot to tell you. I called Orschlens and the guys said all they had left were some Cornish Cross chickens, and some yellow ducks. LOL. He said it was crazy how fast they sold out. And they get a new shipment on Thursday.

That was the one in Raymore.

Finally caught up again!

Still working on hubby about hatching some goosies. Already asked the boss to keep a few for me...

Only a day and a half until I can lockdown on my 5 random chicken eggs!

I'm assuming you can take rails off an auto turner for a Hovabator 1588? You must be able to since you can buy different rails for it, right?

I'm hoping I can take a couple rails off and block the area between the turner and the lockdown eggs. Otherwise I'm going to have to find a way to hand-turn the duck eggs while the chicken eggs are locked down...

It keeps picking back up a little, but nothing like before. I finally got all my kids to sleep, now I get to relax and enjoy the first real storm of the year. I like thunderstorms, lol, just not the chance of power going out on my little eggies.

Yay! I'm not sure on the turner, but it sounds like you should. I can't wait until I get to incubate some more chickens. I wouldn't have everyone else if it weren't for my chickens starting me on chicken math.

Hmmm. I'm picking up my silkie roo Friday in Liberty. I'll only be 15 minutes or so from Kearney then, and I do need more gamebird starter. Must repeat to myself I do not need runners, I do not need runners, I do not need runners, lol.
