Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Wow! I've never had a 100% hatch from shipped eggs, or 100% embryo formation from them either.

I'm sooooo jealous.

I just had to go get my dog off the roofl

cant see much movement in them tho. the eggs are so small and dark it sucks.
i do still have that 1 questionable eggs.
it looks like the chick is just laying on one side. as if it were dead. bcuz one sire of the egg is clear not dark.
but i can still see veins.
and i swear i seen movement.
so im confused.

Thanks for the support guys!

Eyeheartquail, we have tried to hatch quail with no luck. Advice? My 13 year old would love to have them. If you are willing or able to send us a few we would love to try try again!

Did I say I love the support here, I love the support here.

Well....I have only tried to hatch 1 box of shipped eggs so far. It was a total flop. None hatched. Over 3/4 of the eggs were crushed when I got them. When I set 15 quail eggs on my last batch (my own eggs) we hatched 13 babies. My temp is 99.5-100 degrees and 40% humidity until lockdown. Then my humidity gets turned up to 60%. I have no problem sending you some eggs but I do not feel comfortable sending them out for a couple months due to low fertility. I am really into trading/bartering so when my fertility is back up I will let you guy know and we can work something out.

Yes! Hippies have Pee Pee's! And they LOVE to use them!

Is that what you call a dirty hippie?

And all my turkey eggs have babies in them. First 100% development rate on shipped eggs!

Yay!

Hello! Who wants to buy some WH eggs? They are now fertile! Im setting 10 next week! After SM gets hers, I will send them to the next peep!

Goin quackrrs, once all 3 hens are being "bred" I will fill your order ;)

Quail are very temperamental. Any type of food, light, temperature, or environmental changes can stop them from laying for up to 3 weeks.

Man, everyone is having quail troubles. Another dude wants to know why his layed, then stopped.

Busy morning.

I know what you mean. But if there's veins, that's good.

hehe....Are button's that similar to coturnix? I honestly know what they look like, that they can become broody and that they need more heat than Coturnix. That is pretty much all i know.
