Dutch will be removing all pools this morning and setting them up in holding cages with bater bowls and food until time to box and go.
Trip, welcome to the group! The hatchery that you mentioned is known for their less than quality stock. They sell pet quality calls for sure, nothing worth over what you paid, so you got a good deal. The $20 each for pastels is very low, our top breeders were $150 a trio when we invested in them. If you want high quality call ducks I can give you a list of people to buy from so you actually get the tear drop shaped body, tiny bills and toy duck look.
Back to our normal routine here, poor DH has to report back this morning. More goose eggs into lockdown today if I see internal pipping. They looked on track last night.
