Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

CG, we can stress together then! Although I may be out of town for critical day 27 for work.

QJ, BEAUTIFUL apples!! Mine is a cross between the two. It has the same face as your girl/boy, but a lot more white throughout its body. I will take a pic later to show. I am still hoping it is a boy, so I can keep the girls that are cooking in my bator.

Yes, pics later. I wanna see it! This one baffles me. I know it's a girl.. unless boys can quack. But... weirdness with the ring and no white.

Oh and he had a stroke a couple of weeks ago at the young age of 42. Very slow and long recovery ahead. Today is a bad day, his speech isn't working. Maybe to or row will be better.

My thoughts are with you both on this journey.

And then just for fun... I love these girls.

They are pretty girls.

Hi all

The poor little quail the little DD dropped is still unable to walk, but he lingers on. I offer him water and food, which he is taking, but no improvement on the mobility scene. I feel so bad for him, becasue he is fighting so hard. I don't have the heart to terminate his life, such as it is, and its so terrable to watch him, and know Julie is gonna come home from kindergarden, and ask about him. My kids go to catholic school, and I heard her praying for him in prayors this morning.

What on earth do I do? I'm sure she's learned her lesson, but the poor thing still ives. HAS ANYONE EVER HAD A BABY RECOVER FROM A DROP THAT MADE HIS LEGS USELESS?? is there a speck of hope I may cling to here? Im so blue about this.

I've got turkeys, silkies, phesants, and geese going on lockdown this week. My hope and plan initially was the geese would siimply hatch themselves like they ought to, but it seems like almost everyone has trouble with them. Heres hoping for a good easy hatch for me and you all this week.

Marty, the fact he is staying strong and eating/drinking is great! I'm still holding out hope for your little one!!

Got another EE chick today. Guy down the road bought 2 a week ago and a cat got one so he gave us the remaining chick. Of course, it is a week older than mine so the broody doesn't want it. It's with the ducklings now, if they don't let her be part of the gang I guess I will be brooding her inside by herself until the poults hatch to keep her company.
