DG....blue is a dilute of black. Grey is black and brown, blue fawn is blue and brown. CG's baby is, in fact, a blue fawn.umm... There wouldn't be a mixture of blue and brown on her back if she were.... Not like that at least. Just my opinion!... Shes very pretty
Oh wow....can you take a wet piece of paper towel and lay across the puncture site? Picture a piece of tissue a man sticks on a razor cut on his face to stop the bleeding.iain - help help help.

im going to try tying it off with thread.CG, I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't have a clue on how to save your baby. I had that happen with a bad positioned baby but I could not save it. Sorry!!
QJ & Jaz: So 16 weeks is not too early to separate?? Could I make side by side runs for my two pairs or should they not be next to each other? Also, what size space should I make pens to lock them up at night?
Dutch, congrats!!!! I am told the eggs that contain my buff goslings had not even pipped yet as of last night.![]()
I went ahead and separated mine so maybe they would get used to being together. There was some weird ducky dynamic happening with mine. Mallard started mating ancona, Ancona was mating with mallard, they were both picking on Apple Drake.. (who's kinda dumb actually.) My pen is about 3x4 for each one. So 2 ducks in 3x4. I let them out during the day though. In shifts now of course. Mallards and Apples out, then at noon I put them up and let out Ancona... etc..etc.. It sucks. lol.CG, I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't have a clue on how to save your baby. I had that happen with a bad positioned baby but I could not save it. Sorry!!
