What kind of bator are you using? I will pip a small hole sometimes where the crack is.... But I know it also depends on the type of bator you have. Because I can open mine all I want, and do not have humidity issues & such.... If the othe eggs are wiggling then they seem to be on track. Have you had a chance to candle ?O.K i think i need some advise...This is day 29 of the ducks, One has one crack in since 7 last night, only seams to be pecking at that same spot every once and awhileshould i be woried, the other 6 eggs seam to still be wiggling a little ?
I love your rain barrel! Ours are food grade plastic and still need to be attached to the drain spouts. Poor hubby has too many projects.I must admit I have an enabling hubby of poultry whore-ding
Our new indoor & outdoor coup design ~ cover of the drum is all stainless, too keep debris out, and has 2 filtration sytems, if you see the picture of one side with fine straining & the lower with bigger holes.

I luv how we made to levels of height on the nipple drinkers ~ for turkeys, chickens, and chicks. It also will have another nipple waterer going in thru the cedar fence for the inside too
