She's gorgeous! I got some more eggs in the mail today. Hoping I can get 1-2 more to hatch, then I'll see what I have to work with and what I need more of in spring. Keeping these inside all winter likely, so I don't want too many now, lol, although if I could hatch all 9 eggs I'd be thrilled. But I only have one outside pen I'm comfortable running heat too, and the ducklings are much worse to have inside so they get it.I haven't hatched any Seramas yet, but I hope to. I picked up my pair from Lulin Seramas yesterday and I'm hoping to get some really nice chicks from them. The eggs from my other Seramas haven't ever hatched; they died part way through incubation and the one time I tried shipped Serama eggs, only one started to develop and then it died. Very frustrating!
I didn't get a chance to take pictures last night - too busy! There is a picture of the hen I bought on Lulin's website: http://www.lulinserama.com/Pages/OurHens.aspx Her name is Lulin Speckles.
