I'm hoping the same at jolenesdad, sometimes roosters get crazy when there is too much competition. Fingers crossed for the big guy! I know how much you love him. There's always the capes for hens that get too much affection too, lol.

If you've got only got one egg left and it hasn't pipped, you're not going to hurt anything by tapping it with your ear on it to see if it cheeps, or candling it.

I candled it and it was moving a little inside. I really want this chick to hatch and be okay because Im really curious about the chick, it is a silkie/easter egger mix.
