Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

Hatch camera is up and live. First 4 eggs are in there. It's only day 17 until 4pm tomorrow and it looks like they could lose a little more fluid (I'm still seeing clear over the top of the chicks by the air cell) so I'm not spiking the humidity yet but have it set up so I can keep it steady without opening the lid. New link for watching so I can see it at work too.

Yay! I couldn't take my eyes off of your duck hatch last year! I look forward to watching again! Thank you for sharing!

What camera do you use to livestream? I bought a few Wyze cameras, and they are great for what they are, but they can't livestream outside of their app.

Well I'm happy to say that so far it looks like all 10 Silkies and all 10 Salmon Faverolles are still developing! Most are looking really good with exception of the egg I have named "Bubbles" which was the egg I candled before setting and there was a weird blob floating around which I believe may have been a detached chalaza. The baby is still developing but the veining doesn't look quite as strong and even though I could see baby moving it's definitely staying toward the bottom end of the egg. Time will tell, but so far my first hatch of the year is looking very promising! :fl

Your level of precision is ahhhhhmazing! 👏

I use a faleemi camera which is pretty much the same set up as the wyze. I stream it through stream labs on my laptop at home. It works amazing. I bet you could use the same set up with your wyze.

I encountered that issue with the BluRam camera I bought. It has wonderful picture but I can only use it in my app. :hmm
You can probably do the same. I run the faleemi app and stream that through stream labs to my you tube.

Oh I also set 5 more eggs today so maybe we might get a leap year baby!!!

While carrying something into the kitchen I sideswiped the incubator. Sending eggs colliding against each other in all directions!!!:th A quick candling revealed one is cracked from top to bottom. I put some nail polish on it and hope it can hang in there till Wednesday. Man, what a clumsy thing to do. These are day 17 eggs! Guess I should be happy it's just the one egg. It was one heck of a hit.

The color I used on the repair is called "Free Fall". I can't figure out if that's a good or bad omen.:idunno:lau
