Hello all!
My nine are all doing very well (3 speckled sussex - straight run, we got them on monday 2/28, and 6 assort. red pullets, we got them on Thursday 3/3). Anyway, my question is this...out of the 3 speckled sussex, one of them has grown faster, has much larger wings coming in and is getting his little tail feathers already. The other two sussex have smaller wings, and they are not getting their tail feathers at all. Does this mean the first one I mentioned is probably a rooster or could it just be a really big hen developing?
Just curious - it would be perfect if he was our one rooster amongst our flock of 9 total!
Thanks for any input!
