I taped its legs as Ruru said! My little one is up running around!! So very thankful for all your help!
Also my second gosling finally hatched in the middle of the night!! A play mate!! This one does not look splay legged!

Wonderful news, now we need some pics of these littles. Congrats !!

Well my little goose passed away during the night. Dont know why or how just found it dead in the brooder. Im so sad. At least i still have one chick. Maybe i will be able to find a full toulouse baby. Been searching craigslist but no one has any.

I'm so sorry,so you still have another gosling or a chicken chick? Keep looking geese are starting to hatch now so very soon you should see some for sale. what about rescues in your area?

I dont know of any rescues besides dog rescues. I have one gosling left just hope it doesnt get lonely in the mean time. Good to know i havent missed hatching season!! Theres still hope!

A stuffed animal and a non breakable mirror will help alot but having you there will be best till you can get a firend for it. No idea what may have happened to your lil one that died?

No idea just found it laying there dead. The other one was trying to cuddle still. Theres nothing that it could have eaten to choke on as it was on a towel and ilthe gosling wasnt near the food or water. It was eating and drinking fine yesterday so Im clueless as to what happened. Will definately try the toy and mirror as this little one is a chatty cathy!

They do so much better when there's 2 so I'm sure it's very lonely . Let us know how it is doing and when your able to find one. Have you checked feed stores in your area?

x2 about needing company, and also about the feedstore... It´s amazing who they know!....as in, if there aren´t any gozzies obviously available, they may well know someone who breeds them. For instance, 3 feedstores in my town know I breed geese.
